Dog Grooming Taster Days - 1 Day: £150
This day is ideal for anyone who would like an insight to our courses and learn the basics of dog grooming. Our friendly team will make you feel welcome and be available to answer any questions you may have during the day. This would assist you in making a decision on whether dog grooming is the right career for you before proceeding with the longer courses, such as the iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management.
An added bonus is that if you pay for a 1 Day Taster Day & you then enrol on a course over 10 days in length, we will deduct the total cost of the Taster Day off the overall Course Cost (you must book within one month of the Taster Day for this to apply)
i-PET Network Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid - 1 Day: £150
The iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid is perfect for owners and professionals alike who want to be prepared should a pet need emergency treatment. This qualification is the first of its kind being a regulated qualification on Ofqual National Framework.
The qualification covers the most commonly faced canine needs, such as: how to treat injury, dressing wounds, allergic reactions, stings, poisoning, choking, seizures, CPR, hypothermia and much more. It is an excellent balance of theoretical and practical learning to ensure Candidates have the knowledge required should they ever be faced with an emergency first aid situation.
This qualification is valid for 3 years before requiring a refresher training day. Each candidate will receive a recognised certificate for their learning.
i-PET Network Level 3 Award in Introduction to Dog Grooming - 5 Days: £1295
This NEW qualification is delivered over 5 days in our school with practical and theoretical elements (with additional theory work to be completed at home). This course is the first step in learning all about dog grooming and trying your hand at some of the less complex styles. It is perfect for students who have little knowledge of dogs but who are interested in a career in dog grooming. It is also an ideal course for dog owners who wish to learn how to correctly groom a specific breed in a variety of styles.
During the course you will groom a minimum of 5 dogs covering 3 different breeds. There are no pre-requisites to starting the course, meaning you can join at level 3 without having completed a lower level (level 2) course first.
No previous experience is required! Once you have gained this qualification, you can continue your studies and move onto the iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling.
On this course, you will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, nail trimming and basic scissoring and clipping.
Units included within this qualification are:
301: Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
318: Prepare, Style and Finish Several Dog Breeds
You will be continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework meaning you don’t have to sit a daunting exam in order to achieve the qualification.
On completion of this course you will know whether Dog Grooming is the career for you or if your newly acquired skills are just for you to groom your own dogs. in dog grooming or if your new skills are just for your dogs to enjoy.

i-PET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling - 15 Days: £2795
This NEW qualification is delivered over 15 days in our school with practical and theoretical elements (with additional theory work to be completed at home). During the course you will groom a minimum of 10 dogs covering 6 different breeds but often many more. There are no pre-requisites to starting the course, meaning you can join at level 3 without having completed a lower level (level 2) course first.
No previous experience is required! Once you have gained this qualification, you can continue your studies and move onto the iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management and gain your 'Fully Qualified Dog Groomer' status.
On this course, you will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping and nail trimming.
Units included within this qualification are:
301: Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
302: Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with Relevant Legislation
304: Assess and Plan Dog Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment
305: Health Checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour
317: Prepare, Style and Finish a Selection of Dog Breeds
You will be continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework meaning you don’t have to sit a daunting exam in order to achieve the qualification. This holistic approach has been welcomed by novice dog groomers from all walks of life.
This course will leave you confident and competent to style a selection of breeds to client requirements. But for those keen to continue learning when this qualification is completed, the additional fee for the additional 15 days training and registration on the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management would be £1500.
All of our students are continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework. You don’t have to sit an exam in order to achieve the qualification. This holistic approach has been welcomed by students internationally. iPET Network wants to take the pressure out of adult learning and this approach appeals to a wide range of students. We are striving to improve industry standards by ensuring students walk out fully qualified, confident and competent.

As with all of our training it will be delivered to you on a one to one basis at a pace that is right for you. Here at Groomingtails you will undergo all of your training in our fully working grooming salon Groomingtails Dog Spa. This will enable you to get real hands on training and have a good taste of what it is actually like to work in a live grooming salon. This qualification is rounded and robust for those wanting to enter into the Dog Grooming Industry and we highly recommend this course for those wishing to gain employment as a stylist or start their own dog grooming business.
The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management is a nationally recognised, regulated by Ofqual and on the UK educational framework. It is also your route to becoming a 'Fully Qualified' Dog Groomer and enables you to gain a listing on the prestigious Groomers Spotlight.
The course is delivered over 30 days of practical training with additional theory work to be completed at home. Candidates will groom a minimum of 20 dogs, 10 different breeds, covering 6 different coat types but often many more. There are no pre-requisites to starting the course, meaning you can join at level 3 without having completed a lower level (level 2) course first which can be a huge cost saving to students.
Students will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping and nail trimming and the qualification course includes hand-stripping.

Our aim is to improve industry standards by ensuring you walk out of our school fully qualified, confident and competent.
TheiPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management will demonstrate to an employer or the general public that you have the necessary technical skills and knowledge to successfully groom a range of dog breeds. You will obtain a formal, regulated, nationally recognised qualification that will remain relevant throughout your career and can only be achieved by reaching the required skill level. It has been designed specifically for those looking to become professional dog groomers or those who already groom dogs (as a hobby or career) but do not currently hold a nationally recognised qualification.
